Watching the Weather

A warm, pleasant summer. Unlike other places across the country, the weather here on the coast of Maine was warm but not really hot. We did get into the upper 80s on a number of days, but never reached the 90s. And we had an abundance of sunshine, which was a relief after the rainfall of May.

As we head into the first week of September, fall already seems to be in the air. We are getting into the low 50s at night, and, of course, the daylight disappears sooner and sooner as the days move ahead.
